Dr Cecily Brasch

DPsych (ClinNeuropsych) MAPS

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of psychological and cognitive health concerns.

I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and other complex mental health presentations across both the public and private health setting. I have advanced skills in neuropsychological assessment, with my specific areas of interest including decision making capacity, the diagnosis of neurodegenerative conditions and providing supportive functional interventions for those experiencing cognitive challenge.

I have a warm, down-to-earth therapeutic approach. I value building strong therapeutic relationships, and I take the time to understand each person’s unique story. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual, drawing on evidence-based therapies to support meaningful and lasting change.

I have a strong interest in working with older adults to support the unique challenges that can arise with ageing, health changes, and life transitions. I believe in working closely with clients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic and practical support.

My areas of interest include:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Life transition / adjustment
  • Grief and loss
  • Stress management
  • Cognitive change associated with aging
  • Functional cognitive rehabilitation support strategies

In addition to my clinical work, I hold a Diploma of Professional and Leadership Coaching and integrate coaching principles to help clients build clarity, resilience, and direction in their lives.

In my spare time, I love being outdoors in nature, but I can also appreciate the peace and comfort that comes with reading good book and enjoying a cuppa. If you are interested in pursuing support, I would welcome you to book an initial consultation.

Please note Cecily is a registered provider with the Queensland Police Service SelfRefer program.
