Dr Allanah Hockey

BPsych Sci (Hons), MPsych (Clin), PhD, MAPS

Allanah (she/her) holds a combined Masters/ PhD in Clinical Psychology, with her PhD primarily focused on body image. Allanah is passionate about mental health and enjoys working with adults and adolescents. She has experience working with individuals, groups, and families across private practice, inpatient, and outpatient mental health settings. In addition to her therapeutic work, Allanah has taught Undergraduate Psychology as a sessional academic in university settings. Allanah works with clients aged 16 or older.

Allanah utilises a range of evidenced based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Allanah is a warm, empathic and compassionate psychologist who values a flexible, strengths-based and collaborative approach to therapy.
